To pay ₹103cr fine, MC goes after big waste violators
Struggling to gather penalty amount of more than Rs 103.6 crore imposed by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for different lapses, the Ludhiana municipal corporation has decided to go after defaulters in a big way. Initially, the officials are planning to target those causing pollution.
