SWR surpasses electrification target for ’21-22 Striving towards the vision of Carbon-Neutral Railway by 2030 by fast-tracking electrification of its network, South Western Railway (SWR) has achieved 511.7 route km of electrification on March 28, surpassing the Railway Board target of 459 route km for the financial year 2021-22.
