Slow wind pushes Noida air quality to ‘very poor’
The air quality in Noida and Greater Noida has been consistently categorized as 'very poor' for three consecutive days. Delhi also experienced 'very poor' air quality for the fifth day in a row. The overall air quality in Delhi-NCR remained in the 'very poor' category on Wednesday, with slow dispersion of pollutants due to low wind speed. An analysis of data showed a marginal improvement in air quality in Noida compared to previous years. Measures are being taken to address the issue, including compliance with GRAP measures and dust pollution control.
