Semesters, 3 languages in West Bengal schools as state education policy rolls out
The higher education department has notified the new State Education Policy (SEP) that has recommended the introduction of semesters at secondary and higher secondary levels in government and state-aided schools to ease the transition from school to university and a three-language formula in classes 5 to 8.
