Overloaded hotel lift falls from 3rd floor in Noida, nine injured
Nine people were injured, at least two of them suffered fractures, after an elevator at a hotel on Sector 49 malfunctioned due to overloading and had a free fall from the third floor to the basement where it was stuck for nearly 15 minutes on Friday. Hotel staff rushed to the spot on hearing their cries and managed to prise open the lift panels with the help of an iron rod.
