Noida airport to generate 1 lakh crore annual revenue from sixth year of ops
The Noida International Airport in India is projected to generate an annual revenue of over Rs 1 lakh crore from its sixth year of operation, with a potential 5% yearly growth in revenue. The earnings will be shared among the government and the Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway authorities. The airport is expected to handle five million passengers in its first year, with capacity increasing to 12 million by 2027. By 2050, the airport's traffic demand may reach around 98 million passengers annually. The airport will initially have 10 air bridges to streamline passenger travel.
