New Town in Kolkata to get multi-tier parking space
The Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (Hidco) has started construction work of a multi-storey car parking complex in New Town. The parking lot with eight-storey ramp will accommodate 1,600 cars along with cafeteria, food joints, showrooms and display areas. The project, estimated to cost around Rs 135 crore, is being developed on two plots — 117 and 118 — adjacent to the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre.
