More trains on Sundays to tackle Kolkata Metro rush
Steep rise in footfall has prompted Metro Railway to operate more services on Sundays than it did before the pandemic. The carrier has also returned to its pre-pandemic Sunday operations, starting at 9am instead of 10am along the North-South corridor since last week.
