Monsoon likely to exit Maha early next week
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that monsoon withdrawal is expected to begin in several regions of India in the next few days. These regions include Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, west Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, certain parts of east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The monsoon withdrawal line is progressing towards southeast and central India, and dry conditions are expected in various districts of Maharashtra. Pune and Konkan are anticipated to have predominantly clear skies from October 7 and October 9, respectively. Monsoon withdrawal from the entire state is likely to occur around October 10-11.
