Mandya suffering because of expressway’s poor design: MP
In India, there is a new 10-lane expressway called the Mysurubengaluru expressway. This expressway is supposed to connect two different parts of India, but many people are not happy with it because it is very unscientific. Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has been protesting against the expressway, and she has said that the design is bad, and that the locals are not being taken into account. She has also said that the road is hurting farmers, and that students are having trouble crossing the road. She has asked the central government to fix the problems, and she has also asked them to gain public confidence through public consultation.
