In another case, a man in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, was arrested for uploading a morphed picture of a woman on social networking sites. The woman alleged that she came in contact with the man five years ago and befriended him. She met the man twice and later broke up with him, but the man kept harassing her. The man also posted her morphed pictures on Instagram. The investigating officer said that the woman filed a complaint on June 4, 2021, following an inquiry. A case was registered under different sections of the IPC and Section 66C of the Information and Technology Act against the man.
