Ludhiana police's rally 'biggest ever against drugs', enters record books
The Ludhiana police commissionerate hosted India and Asia's biggest cycle rally against drugs, with about 25,000 participants, including 10,000 youngsters. The event made it to the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. The rally aimed to combat drug abuse and promote cycling as a healthy lifestyle. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann flagged off the rally, which started and ended at Punjab Agricultural University. Ludhiana police commissioner Mandeep Singh Sidhu and other officials also participated in the rally. After completing the rally, Sidhu joined a bhangra performance on stage.
