KMC rejigs water supply plan in central Kolkata areas
To save the century-old underground water reservoir at Md Ali Park, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has decided to construct a new water reservoir-cum-booster pumping station at Marquis Square. A detailed project report for the new pumping station has already been prepared. After a discussion at the mayor-in-council meeting on Wednesday, the project has been approved.
