KDA demolishes 12-acre illegal plotting behind Chakeri AirportKanpur Development Authority (KDA) demolished an illegal plot of land on Wednesday behind the Chakeri Airport boundary. The plot was being used to construct a DPCC, CC road, sewer, and power poles without seeking KDA's approval, and was in violation of the UPUPA 1973 and the norms of UP Urban Planning and Development Act. The KDA also had a pending case in the High Court regarding the land, which was won by the KDA. The KDA is now taking steps to reclaim the land under the guidance of KDA Vice Chairman Arvind Singh.
