Karnataka govt hostel project languishes on paper 
The state government, which has decided to build a student-friendly hostel to accommodate 1,000 students on the Karnataka University premises, is still in the planning stages. The hostel project, supposed to come up in the name of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at the cost of Rs 250 crore, is gathering dust.
