Kannada lit fest on Jan 29 The ninth Dharwad Taluk Kannada Sahitya Sammelana will be held on January 29 at Munmmigatti, outside of Dharwad City. Sharanamma Gorebal, the parishat president of the taluk kannada sahitya sammelana, said that senior writer Leela Kalkoti has been elected as the sammelana president. The literary meet will begin at 8:30am with the hoisting of the tricolour flag. This will be followed by a procession of sammelana president it will be led by folk artists students in the attire of freedom fighters and jananpith awardees.
