Greater Noida: No end in sight to water woes, residents protest with empty buckets
Residents in sectors Delta 1, 2, and 3 and Beta 2 I-block in Greater Noida are facing a water shortage due to a broken water pump at an underground reservoir. The water supply timings have been reduced to one hour instead of the designated three hours, causing frustration among residents. The problem has persisted for over a month, and residents are threatening to use submersible pumps if a permanent solution is not provided. The Greater Noida Authority is working to repair the pump and aims to resume supply by Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
