Drones to help foresters at NagaraholeA drone is being donated to help monitor the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve in Karnataka, which is spread over two districts - Kodagu and Mysuru. The reserve is thick forest cover, and poachers have been a problem in the area. The drones will be able to help keep an eye on the area, and two donors - PM Ventures and Tiger Ramesh - have joined forces with the forest department to use the technology. The highlight of the drone is that it can function both in the day and the night, and it can capture videos and photos in a four kilometer radius.
