Dharwad will host five-day Natl Youth Fest from Jan 12 The Dharwad National Youth Festival is a celebration of India's cultural and geographical unity in diversity. It is part of the National Youth Week celebration, which is to mark the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. The festival will be held at the Karnataka College Grounds in Dharwad from January 12-16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the festival on January 12th. Akshay Kumar will be the chief guest at the valedictory function on January 16th. The festival aims to showcase India's cultural and geographical diversity in unity. 3500 youths from across the country will participate in the events. Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi visited Karnataka College and inspected the facilities for the festival earlier this week. Mayor Iresh Anchatageri, Kuvva Chabda Deputy Commissioner Gurudatt Hegde, Police Commissioner Labhuram S. Lokesh, Registrar Yashpal Ksheersagar, and others were present.
