Delhi-Pune flyers wait for pilot for 2 hours in aircraft
Over 100 passengers of an Air India flight from Delhi to Pune were made to sit in the aircraft for almost two hours after boarding due to the absence of the pilot. The flight was delayed and took off around 9pm instead of the scheduled 7.10pm departure time. Air India has not yet provided a comment on the issue. The same flight was delayed again on Tuesday, with passengers waiting in the terminal building. Pilots' availability and the current pilot shortage in India were cited as reasons for the delays.
