CM Basavaraj Bommai says dargah in Hubballi will be shifted, community has agreed 
The government has settled the controversy over demolition of hazrat syed khadri mohamad dargah near hubballi. The community leaders representing the dargah have agreed to shift it to an alternative location. Congress member abbayya prasad sought to call attention to the issue as he urged the government to preserve the dargah which the authorities had proposed to demolish. The debate over the dargah’s demolition started in 2012 when the brts project was planned. Hindu organizations sought exemption for ramalingeshwar temple at unkal cross. On wednesday, bommai informed the legislative assembly that the government had settled the controversy over demolition and said the community leaders representing the dargah had agreed to shift it.
