Bring Cong back to power: Siddaramaiah Kalaburagi, the leader of the opposition in Karnataka, urged the people of Kalyana Karnataka to bring the Congress back to power in order to give respect to the soul of the late Chief Minister Dharam Singh. There were two people who played major roles in making this possible: Mallikarjun Kharge and Dharam Singh. Kharge said he was addressing a gathering at the Kattisangavi village outskirts of Jevargi town where 108 pairs had participated in a mass marriage after the inauguration of a marriage hall by the Dharam Singh Foundation Trust. Dharam Singh was committed to public interest and was a polite, honest gentleman. Siddaramaiah said adding that people used to call both Congress leaders Rama and Laxmana for the development works in the region. Dharam Singh brought the Krishna Water up to Jevargi Taluk. The former Chief Minister said Dharam Singh’s wife Prabhavathi, other members of the family, and many other leaders were present at the ceremony.
