BJP is misusing Ram’s name: HDK
The speaker of the assembly, who is also the head of the BJP, said that the party is using the name of Lord Ram to get votes in the upcoming elections. He said that there is a difference between the lifestyle of people in Mandya and the lifestyle of people in the Coastal region, and that the geographical environment of these two regions are different. He said that opposition from backward classes to the inclusion of the Panchamasali community in the 2A reservation category is natural. He said that if reservation is to be given to any community, it should be decided after a comprehensive study of the economic and education conditions of the caste and communities. He said that farmer suicides have started again, and that it is due to crop damage which has affected the farming community. He said that the state and central governments have issued guidelines for management of Covid, but he agrees with them. However, he does not agree if these guidelines are issued for political purposes.
