Bizmen demand flat rate of power for industryIn Ludhiana, businessmen are asking the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to reduce the rate of power for industry, and to keep it at a flat rate of Rs. 5 per unit for at least three years. Mr. Gurmeet Singh Kular, president of the Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organizations, has said that "every sector is passing through a very bad phase, so we urge the state government and PSPCL to consider reducing the rate of power for industry and keeping it at a flat rate of Rs. 5 per unit for at least three years."
