Bengal hikes salaries of its legislators by Rs 40k/month
The Bengal government on Thursday announced a hike of Rs 40,000/month in the salaries of ministers-in-charge (MIC), ministers-of-state (MoS) and legislators. While announ- cing this in the assembly, CM Mamata Banerjee said she would continue to work at a token salary of Re 1.
