Belagavi police are trying to control crime and be friendly to the people. They started a phonein program to listen to people's problems and crimes. On Thursday, the phonein was held because the central home minister, Amit Shah, was visiting Belagavi. 51 people called the police to report local issues and crimes. Police inspectors from the Belagavi police department were present during the phonein.
