Alipore auditorium: A Poila Baisakh gift to Kolkata
The much awaited Dhana Dhanye auditorium at Alipore is likely to be inaugurated by chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday, the eve of Bengali New Year. The construction of another auditorium by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) at Amtala in South 24 Parganas is expected to be completed by May-end.
