Ajit draws parallels between his move & Pawar's 45 years ago
Deputy CM Ajit Pawar drew parallels between his uncle Sharad Pawar's decision in 1978 to split Congress and his own move to split NCP, quit Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, and join BJP-Sena government. The support of NCP MLAs and MLCs proves his decision is correct. Ajit hinted that NCP supporters should now take orders only from him. He also mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a strong leader. Ajit Pawar is now reaching out to national leaders directly to solve the state's issues. He urged citizens to use water judiciously and assured efforts to give reservation to the Maratha community.
