3 hooligans attack groom for objecting to bike rounds through pandal, arrested
A private bank employee named Rohit Gaikwad, 29, from Shrinagar in Rahatani, was assaulted by a motorcycle-riding trio a day before his wedding. Gaikwad sustained a deep cut to his left arm and lodged a complaint with the Wakad police. The police arrested three suspects, including Vijay Talware, Sunny Gaikwad, and Aniket Bansode, under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Indian Arms Act. The incident occurred when Gaikwad and others requested the trio to stop driving through the pandal set up in front of his house, leading to a heated argument.
