3 held, as many booked for performing black magic in Pune
Three people, including a Guruji, have been arrested for performing dark rituals to bring misfortune to a man and his family in Pune. The victim, an employee of a private bank, filed a complaint after his stepbrother and stepsisters hired a Guruji to perform the Aghori puja. The puja involved using photographs of the victim and his family, as well as chicken, mutton, eggs, and pins. The police have registered a case and invoked provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act.
