Women’s edu vital for development of society: Governor 
Women’s education is the basis for the development of the society and the only women’s university, named after Shivasharane Akkamahadevi, established in Vijayapura in 2003, is working as a complement to women’s empowerment, said governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot.
