West Bengal gets 606 new PG medical seats
The state is all set to churn out an additional of 606 specialty doctors with the health ministry approving these seats across eight medical colleges in Bengal. The 606 new post-graduation (PG) seats will cover close to 20 specialty subjects. This is an increase of about 31% post-graduation seats as Bengal currently runs 1,940 post graduation or MD/MS seats.
