WB govt bans plastic below 75 microns from July 1
The Bengal government has finally declared a ban on thin plastic polybags or single-use plastic (SUP) from July 1. Henceforth, manufacture, stocking, distribution, sale and use of plastic carry bags below 75-micron thickness will be a punishable offence.
