Village with no Muslim family observes Muharram for 5 days For more than a century now, a village in Belagavi district with not a single Muslim family has been observing Muharram for five days every year. Streets of Hirebidanur village in Saundatti taluk of the district are illuminated with colourful lighting to mark the occasion.
