Unwed woman shown married online; 2 booked in Pune
The Chandannagar police are investigating a 23-year-old woman’s complaint accusing a marriage bureau operator and his accomplice of preparing, as well as posting, a bogus certificate online showing her as married, despite her unmarried status, and defaming her. The woman had rejected the bureau operator’s proposal to marry him.
