TMC sweeps urban Bengal, wins 102 of 108 civic bodies
The Trinamool juggernaut hit a roadblock in five municipalities.Taherpur in Nadia remained a red bastion. Of the 13-seat municipality, CPM, which has been in office here since 1993, won eight and Trinamool the rest. Trinamool did take over in 2010 but CPM won again in 2015.
