Three Muda staff caught accepting bribe for khataA superintendent of police from the Lokayukta police department caught three staff members of the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (Muda) allegedly receiving bribes for generating khata files for seven site owners on Friday. The staff trapped by the Lokayukta police are special tahsildar B. Srinivas 46, ranganna sk 56, and sda (group employee) all of whom are alleged to have demanded bribes from seven site owners in order to generate khata files. The Lokayukta police stated that it has been alleged that ranganna kept Rs. 7,000 bribe with himself and handed over another Rs. 7,000 to tahsildar Srinivas through group employee Varalakshmi.
