Summer break: Some private schools in Kolkata stick to own plan
Several schools in the city are sticking to their old schedule of summer vacation while state-run schools are starting the break from May 2 following a government order on April 13. Private school heads said the academic session had only begun and students needed at least two-three weeks of classes before the vacation.
