Sports complex to be an excellence centre soon
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) plans to transform the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex into a sports excellence center. The Authority will outsource its operations and maintenance to a private company. The complex offers various indoor and outdoor sports facilities and has previously hosted cricket and pro-kabaddi events. The GNIDA has issued an expression of interest, inviting companies to submit proposals to lease and manage the complex. The selected company will have the freedom to establish sports academies and sublet the facilities. The complex will also feature restaurants and shops.
