Spl leave for employees deployed for electionThe Kanpur Up Governor has sanctioned special emergency leave for its employees who are graduate and bona fide voters of Kanpur Nagar and other districts for the graduates and teachers constituency elections to be held on January 30. According to District Magistrate Vishak G Iyer, a communication to this effect has been received from the Principal Secretary General Administration on Wednesday. The District Administration has made elaborate preparations for the voting and counting the District has been divided into 11 zones and 30 sectors. The training of all Zonal and Sector Magistrates has been completed. Micro Observer’s Training has also been completed and they are ready for their dutiest. This information was given to Saurabh Singh and Balkar Singh observers of the graduates and teachers constituencies respectively. He said video photography would be performed at all the voting sites. The two observers had reached Vikas Bhawan on Tuesday to review the preparations for the election of the two constituencies. According to the District Election Officer, as many as 100 voting centres had been raised for the graduates constituency election and 61 voting centres for the teachers constituency. There are 164428 voters in the graduates constituency and 11485 voters in the teachers constituency.
