Schools in 34 merged areas wait for PMC to take charge
The Pune Municipal Corporation has not taken charge of the schools and 538 teachers from the merged areas. In 2017, 11 villages were put from Pune zilla parishad jurisdiction into the PMC limits followed by another 23 villages, last year.
