Sarus female, Kanpur zoo staff cranes neck for its mate
After determining that the sarus crane brought Kanpur’s Allen Forest zoo recently is a female, preparations are on to facilitate its mating. On the other hand, because it is a female, it is not likely that it will be released in the open. That the crane is a female was revealed from the DNA report that arrived from a Secunderabad lab on Saturday evening.
