Restaurant association wants govt to allow city bars to stay open till 3am
The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) has requested the excise department to extend the serving hours for bars in Noida until 3am. Currently, bars are only allowed to operate until midnight. The NRAI argues that this change would benefit the economy, tourism, and job creation. They have submitted a letter to the excise commissioner and are awaiting a response. The excise department releases a new policy every January, and the decision on this matter will be announced then.
