Respite from heat in parts of Maha in the offing
Some respite from extreme heat in parts of Maharashtra is in sight after the next two days, IMD officials have indicated. In Pune, too, the day temperatures are likely to fall by a couple of degrees in the coming days. Anupam Kashyapi, the head of the weather forecasting division of IMD Pune, told TOI, “While there could be no significant change in maximum temperatures over most parts of Maharashtra during the next two days, a gradual fall by around 2-3 degrees celsius is expected thereafter.”
