Rajul Gajjar has been appointed as the first woman Vice-Chancellor of Gujarat Technological University (GTU). Her appointment comes after the expiry of the previous VC's term. Gajjar has an impressive academic background, including a doctorate in structural disasters. She has previously served as the officiating VC of GTU and held various important positions in the education department. With her vast experience and accomplishments, Gajjar is set to lead GTU for a three-year term as the VC.
