Pvt hosps plan to shut down Covid units, keep only a few beds reserved
At least three private hospitals, AMRI, Ruby General and Charnock, plan to wind up their Covid units next week, keeping a few beds reserved for patients who test positive for the virus. The move comes at the end of a spike in cases last month that had forced hospitals to revive isolation units.
