Pune: Security firm loses Rs 18.7 lakh to fake cheques
Some unknown men withdrew Rs21.2 lakh from the bank account of a private security firm using 20 fake cheques after they forged the signatures of the owner and his brother. The fraud took place between December 20, 2021, and February 18 this year at a public sector bank in Bhosari.
