Pune: Rising costs of feed, fuel drive up chicken prices
An increase in the cost of chicken-feed like soybean and maize, alongside rising costs of transportation, have led to a spike in the cost of chicken in the retail market to Rs230-250 per kg from the Rs160-180 per kg pricing last month.
