Pune: Metro trains to run till midnight from tomorrow
Metro services in Pune will be extended till midnight during the Ganeshotsav festival, instead of the usual 10pm closing time. However, commuters are requesting that the service be extended until 2am on the last five days of the festival. The extension of metro services is expected to benefit devotees visiting Ganesh pandals late at night, who prefer the metro due to poor road conditions and the possibility of rain. Maha Metro officials will monitor footfall and rush at the stations during the extended hours.
