Pune: Christmas morning to arrive on a warm note, says IMD
Pune is bracing for a warm Christmas morning with rising minimum temperatures. The city experienced temperatures above normal, with Shivajinagar at 14.5°C and Lohegaon at 17.2°C. This trend will continue until Christmas. South-easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will replace the northeasterly winds, causing a rise in minimum temperatures for four to five days. IMD's extended forecast also predicted a rise in night temperatures after December 20. Skymet Weather Services mentioned a lack of wintry feel in Maharashtra for at least a week. Delhi's minimum temperature may drop to 6 degrees Celsius, and its air quality remains 'very poor'. Bengaluru experienced a drop in temperature due to upper air circulation, bringing rainy and misty weather.
